How do caregivers access training courses?
Caregivers will receive an e-mail to login and access all available trainings.
What about my REQUIRED onboarding course?
If you have a custom onboarding course, caregivers receive a separate message with instructions on completing your REQUIRED onboarding course.
For group program members, the REQUIRED onboarding course is the very first course on your caregivers' student dashboard!
How do I monitor my employees' progress and get proof of training?
Choose the person you want to receive employee progress reports. Reports are automatically sent to your designated person the last day of every month.
*The ability for customers to directly access progress reports 24/7 is anticipated to become available in Q1 of 2022.
Custom program customers will also receive instant e-mail notifications as soon as your caregiver completes their required onboarding course.
Can I access my caregiver's certificates of completion directly?
Currently, caregiver's need to share their certificates with employers by printing, e-mailing, or texting a pdf or photo. Higher Standards Caregiver Training is working diligently to allow employers to directly access certificates of completion. *Progress reports provide detailed, time/date stamped documentation of course progress and completion.
What about Live Q&A?
Times and days for live Q&A vary, in order to make sessions available to caregivers with different schedules. Dates, times, and links to live Q&A sessions will be sent to all enrolled caregivers by e-mail monthly. Live Q &A is hosted over Google Meet.
Leadership Mastermind groups currently also take place on a rotating schedule. Benefits of rotating vs. set mastermind schedules are current being assessed to best meet client needs.
What can I do to make sure I get the most out of this training program?
1) Add caregivers right away. Make sure you add your caregivers as soon as they are hired. This tells them that training is an essential and required part of your organization, and can actually help them to make first shift.
2) Set expectations. Tell them that they are going to be enrolled in the program, and they will be expected to attend live trainings monthly (so long as they are not on shift).
3) Incentivize training. At Higher Standards CT, we strive live to make training enjoyable, and once caregivers begin attending, they usually want to keep coming back for another great experience. Caregivers who come to live trainings get ample appreciation, recognition, respect, and encouragement.
As their employer, you can help increase attendance with positive recognition for frequent attendance, reimbursement for training time, and occasional rewards like raffles for small gift cards, lunch with the boss, etc. *Note: the most powerful motivator for many people is appreciation and recognition. If there is a special recognition program you want to pair with individual program or white page live trainings, let us know!
